SCGC ประกาศเดินโรงงานระยองโอเลฟินส์
หลังหยุดเป็นการชั่วคราว จากสถานการณ์ตะวันออกกลาง
กรุงเทพฯ – 18 กันยายน 2569 : เอสซีจี เคมิคอลส์ หรือ SCGC เผยว่า บริษัทระยองโอเลฟินส์ จำกัด (ROC) ในกลุ่มธุรกิจ SCGC กลับมาเดินโรงงานโอเลฟินส์หลังจากได้ประกาศหยุดโรงงานเป็นการชั่วคราวเนื่องจากสถานการณ์ตะวันออกกลางเมื่อเดือนมีนาคม 2569 โดยบริษัทฯ ได้ประเมินความพร้อมด้านการดำเนินงาน รวมทั้งมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยและสิ่งแวดล้อมอย่างรอบด้าน ซึ่งขณะนี้ โรงงาน ROC สามารถเดินเครื่องได้สำเร็จเป็นที่เรียบร้อย
นายศักดิ์ชัย ปฏิภาณปรีชาวุฒิ ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารและกรรมการผู้จัดการใหญ่ บริษัท เอสซีจี เคมิคอลส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) เผยว่า “การกลับมาเดินโรงงาน ROC ในช่วงนี้ มีปัจจัยสำคัญที่นำมาพิจารณา ได้แก่ ความต่อเนื่องในการจัดหาวัตถุดิบ (Feedstock Security) และความพร้อมของโรงงาน รวมทั้งความมุ่งมั่นที่จะส่งมอบผลิตภัณฑ์ให้แก่ลูกค้า คู่ค้า และผู้มีส่วนได้เสียทุกภาคส่วนอย่างต่อเนื่อง”
“อย่างไรก็ตาม สถานการณ์ตะวันออกกลางยังคงมีความผันผวนและไม่แน่นอน ซึ่ง SCGC ยังคงติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด และเร่งปรับกลยุทธ์เพื่อรับมืออย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการจัดหาวัตถุดิบ การบริหารจัดการวัตถุดิบและการผลิตให้มีประสิทธิภาพสูงสุด เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสและสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขัน พร้อมรองรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของอุตสาหกรรมปิโตรเคมีโลกที่มีความท้าทายมากขึ้น” นายศักดิ์ชัยกล่าวทิ้งท้าย
SCGC Announces Restart of Rayong Olefins Plant Following Temporary Suspension Due to Middle East Situation
BANGKOK – September 18, 2026: SCG Chemicals, or SCGC, announced that Rayong Olefins Co., Ltd. (ROC), a subsidiary of SCGC, has commenced the start-up of its olefins plant following the temporary suspension of plant operations in March 2026 due to the situation in the Middle East. Following a comprehensive assessment of operational readiness and safety and environmental standards, ROC successfully commenced its plant start-up on September 17, 2026.
Mr. Sakchai Patiparnpreechavud, Chief Executive Officer and President of SCG Chemicals Public Company Limited, said, “The decision to restart the ROC plant at this time was based on several key considerations, including feedstock security and plant readiness, as well as our commitment to ensuring the continuous delivery of products to our customers, business partners, and all stakeholders.”
“Nevertheless, the situation in the Middle East remains volatile and uncertain. SCGC continues to monitor developments closely and promptly adapt its strategies in response. Our priorities include securing feedstock supply and optimising feedstock and production management to maximise operational efficiency. These efforts will enable us to capture opportunities, strengthen our competitiveness, and navigate the increasingly challenging changes in the global petrochemical industry,” Mr. Sakchai concluded.
